When do we receive teacher assignments?

To view your assignment, log in to Genesis and navigate to your student's profile. You will need to answer several questions before you can view your child’s teacher and schedule. New parents: go to Genesis, enter the email address on file with SBS, and click "Forgot Password?" to set up your account.To access the Genesis Parent Portal, click HERE. How do I check in as a visitor to SBS?

Follow these steps when visiting for a class party, meeting, or any other reason: 1. Ring the bell at the Main Entrance. 2. Someone in the main office will ask your reason for visiting and buzz you into the main vestibule. 3. Use the tablet to select your reason for visiting. 4. Scan your Federal ID and take a photo.5. Peel and wear your printed badge. 6. Ring the inner bell; you will be buzzed into the school. When leaving: Scan your badge at the vestibule tablet to confirm your departure.

How do you report an absence, early dismissal or late arrival?

All absences, late arrivals or early dismissals must be reported to the school no later than 8:15 AM. You have two options:Email the Main Office directly at: absent@sbs-nj.orgNote, you can click the button at the top of our website to easily report via email!Call 732-747-0882 and press 1 to leave a message after the tone.If you are picking up your child early, please include the time you’re picking up and whether or not they will be returningIn addition to letting the main office know, you should email your child’s teacher(s) directly for absences and early dismissals.If any student is absent for three or more days, parents must notify the nurse of the reason for such absence. All contagious illnesses must be reported to the nurse at 732-747-0882 ext. 301 as soon as diagnosed. A doctor’s note is needed for readmission.
